This Internet blocking software really works. And best of all it is FREE. No gimmicks that we could find. It appears to set up a proxy server on your system by which you can control your children's (and if you wish, your own) access to sites containing objectionable materials. You participate in deciding which sites to block, thus the WE in We-Blocker. The only down side is that you must be running Windows 98, as there are some unresolved issues with Windows 95 IF you try to uninstall the software. Tech support is good, and very responsive. (I had to stop running it on my computer only because I am running Windows 95 and publish with FrontPage which didn't like the proxy server arrangement. rdt) I am hoping that they will resolve these problems in the near future. In any case, this is a FREE alternative to the offensive material that is so prevalent on the web.
